The MoFo Top 100 Action Movie Countdown

It wasn't a straight-up addition problem, the integers related to the numbers of words in the remaining 10 movies.

I realize now I ****ed up though since the earlier clues depended on the precise wording of movie titles, such as the fact that there is no "the" in Terminator 2's title, but the final clue depends on a "4" being in Mad Max: Fury Road's title, which I only put there to help keep the series organized in my spreadsheet, so that's on me. It's altogether solvable if not for that.

I did it again.

Granted, this time I had some help, but still -- did it again.

Wow, this was awesome. Great job, Omni, very well/stylishly executed list. Final tally for me was 87/100 seen, HMs 47/60 seen, so I've still got some movies to see (which I find kinda fun actually).

Two worthy entries in the top. Die hard's a master class on how to write a action movie and T2 is one of, if not the best sequel in film history. Both have great villains as well, with two completely opposite ways of being antagonistic. Rickman's suave, buisness-like thief waltzes into the building and takes control with minimum amount of fuss, while Patrick's nearly mute T-1000 simply heads for his target with unrelenting focus and without a thought other than fullfilling it's mission.

Die Hard (1988) - This was the first movie that I thought of when this list was announced, but when I rewatched it, it just didn't hold up enough for me, so it didn't make my list. (I had no doubt that it would come in at the top of the countdown anyway.)

Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991) - I like T2 more than the first Terminator movie, so I was happy to see it show up so high on the countdown. It was #20 on my list.

Terminator 2 is way better than Diehard. I watched Diehard and found myself really disappointed with it, it's a fine movie but nothing super special.

What's interesting about Die Hard, is it was designed to be a sequel to Commando

Its Kinda amazing how Die Hard is my number 1 film on my list for this and it happens to be number one movie out of 100 Films
