The Mad Prophet of the Movie Forums
I guess that means I'm up next, eh?

My taste in movies is very odd to say the least. I have an insanely broad taste in movies. Its very hard to describe. The best I can do to summarize is that if a movie is good, I like it. While that may sound both ambiguous and pompus (which I hope it does not), it is the truth. Enough about my taste in movies though, on to the list!

Wait....one last thing. Because my taste is what it is, my list will be primarily of films that would be considered "guilty pleasures", and films that I belive are bad, and thus don't like. I hope you don't mind. (I hope I don't make this too easy...)

Wild Wild West
Bad Company (2002)
Batman Forever
Batman & Robin
Tomb Raider
Resident Evil
Robocop 2
The Scorpion King
Gods and Generals
The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen
Commando (1985)
The 6th Day
Flash Gordan (1980)
Halloween II (1981)
City of Industry
The Boondock Saints
Soldier (1998)
Superman 3
Superman 4
Rocky V

Beale's bonus:

Pick out the two movies which I think are overrated (which is not to say I don't like the film, because I loved all 5):

Do the Right Thing
Touch of Evil
Gladiator
Gone with the Wind
Shakespeare in Love

Notes:
I had a very long in depth reason for why I liked Wild Wild West, but I deleted it. I still like it though , and the short reason why is because it was entertaining. It is the closest film to being bad that I've liked.

Read my official review of the League for more on that.

I had another long reason for Gods and Generals, which I'm guessing you all remembered me liking from one of my first posts. Back in those dark days, I was in search of a taste in film. I had not yet defined or refined any of it. Thanks to this film, I was forced to think about film in a new light, I was forced to rethink my definitions of good and bad, etc. This film helped me discover my taste!

On to the results: (in order of posting)

Minion TV: 12
Caitlyn: 10
Herod: 14
firegod: 11
Aniko: 8

Herod had the most, but I think he is out of the running because he led a recent cinema taste test. Therefore...the winner is Minion TV!!!....but wait.....didn't he win a minute ago? Oh well. I think you are in the clear....again. Someone stop me if I'm wrong though.

Thanks all for posting! Also Congrats to all, because you all did better than I usually do!

I almost forgot!

Beale's bonus:
Do the Right Thing
Touch of Evil

Great films, but a little overrated IMO.

That means Herod wins Beale's bonus!!!
