This was one of the lesser-known classics he wrote in his "Richaerd Bachman days. I had the book in my shelf for a while but never got around to it, since I have a lot of books to get through. The moment I heard about the movie adaptation, I speedread it in one day (I tend to do that with Stephen King). It was kind of a messy book with a lot of well-written scenes that didn't go well together, but since I've read it I'm thinking I'll see it once it comes out.


Anyway, the story is about a man slowly going crazy because this bigshot company wants him to relocate to build a new road, and plans early on to destroy the road.
