Sorry if I'm rude but I'm right
Andrzej Wajda, one of the best known Polish directors died today, on Sunday.

Best known for his film Ashes and Diamonds, he was a prolific director moving in many genres.

That's too bad. Not seen anything from him but i've been meaning to watch Ashes & Diamonds for ages. Well it is good that he lived a long productive life.

RIP

Gooble gobble, one of us!
This is indeed sad news. He was a great artist, ofx Ashes and Diamonds is a masterpiece, but my favourite of his is Danton. Kubrick was a big fan of that film as well.

One of the big reasons i had for applying to film school in Lodz was partially because Wajda often was a guest teacher.
Wajda was truly a great artist, one of a kind.

Quite liked Katyn which is his only work I've seen thus far.
R.I.P.
