Thanks! I was born not only on Cinco de Mayo, but also on the exact day/year Alan Shepard became the first American in space in Project Mercury. (My mom watched it while she was in labor.)
Last month, I got a behind-the-scenes Level 9 tour of Houston's NASA Space Center, coincidentally while they are celebrating 50 years since the first moon landing. Our tour guide found that factoid about my birthday fun.
I just wish news outlets didn't treat that historic moment like ANCIENT history.
I hear if you go into space you get taller so just do that if you ever start shrinking.
Happy birthday!
