One more I can vote in after a watch...

Close-Up (1990) vs Ed Wood (1994)

...and just remembered I watched Tarkovsky's Nostalgia in June last year so...

Nostalgia (1983) vs War Of The Arrows (2011)

Glad you remembered because that was the only one without a vote so far.

Did hope a few more members might chime in on the voting in this, thus giving a larger pool of people that may have seen both films in a match. Not sure I'd really want one of mine to go through purely because I'm the only one that's seen both - would just seem wrong somehow

Dang, Chazelle's whole filmography is getting pounded this round I'm good with that i don't really like him.
I would have happily voted for Whiplash, but it was up against se7en. How do you compete with that?

and THANK YOU @Chypmunk for voting for War of the Arrows!! LOOOVE that film

Shame it's not better known round these parts but hey at least two of us enjoy it Ed

Sorry if I'm rude but I'm right
I can't vote on any set. I have seen zero movies ever my whole life.
Me neither. In reality I only watch American Pie on repeat and lie about every film I describe in Movie Tab II.

Look, I'm not judging you - after all, I'm posting here myself, but maybe, just maybe, if you spent less time here and more time watching films, maybe, and I stress, maybe your taste would be of some value. Just a thought, ya know.

Women will be your undoing, Pépé
Yeah, I've seen your posts above.
I think I will choose Whiplash finally, but with heart bleeding.
Forgot to say, i took that as a vote for Whiplash Ms. M. If you change your mind just say, looks like SE7EN will win that match anyway.
sending Whiplash a little love is a good thing since Se7en has it locked up anyway.

I won't dance. Don't ask me...
Absolutelly take it as a my vote. Whiplash is better, but Se7en is also very good.
It seems every movie I choosed loses
What about Broken Flower vs Her? Also difficult choice.

Thanks, Ed. That's why I like you. You are on your opinion, but you respect a different point of view
It's a pleasure to discuss with you about movies
