The rap star, also known as Slim Shady, has become a fan of boy wizard Harry Potter. A source told me: "He reads all the books to his daughter before bedtime." While on tour in London recently the rapper hoped to catch up with JK in an attempt to land a signed copy of her latest tome. But Eminem also wanted a snap to show his 7-year-old daughter Hailie that they had met. Sadly no meeting actually took place, but Eminem actually sent her a note of thanks for creating "such a great read". Apparently the star wanted to keep this quiet so as not to ruin his tough guy image.
Well, his tough guy image hasn't wavered to me at all. I never really thought of him as a tough guy anyway. After all, he made a song or two dedicated to his daughter.
