The MoFo Top 100 of the Nineties Countdown

Yeah in the past we've had a little cool down period. And more than that, we usually take a few months for submissions, which covers most of that period.

By the way, just in case it hasn't been said enough: a huge thanks to Harry Lime for putting this together. And for enduring the grousing. I think the list was a huge success, Harry did great work, everyone was entertaining and interesting even when they disagreed, and I'll be adding the whole thing to the Lists area this week.

Ha, yeah, I obviously didn't mean the countdown. I meant to start taking submissions.

Oh, sure, I didn't think you meant otherwise, either. I think there was a delay before submissions too but I don't remember. Harry probably does. Though it might make more sense to solicit submissions immediately while everyone's thinking about it and just give everyone else a long time to get theirs in, yeah.

Yup, makes sense. I have the thread almost ready to go, so look for it very soon, guys.

I'll say we don't, if only because it's hard to imagine the next list sparking the same kind of fervor as this one did, especially early on. I mean, this sucker's over 5,000 posts and it was started just 2 months ago. That's over 80 posts a day.

We've gone on holiday by mistake
Who wants to bet we beat the post count..
You mean Sexy Celeb plus a little help beat the post count...

Exactly. The hype from this thread should make the users talk about it with their friends, who will be interested in joining just to participate, but since friends of film fans are generally inexperienced, we would all make fun of them, and that's how you get the highest post count. It's somewhat misanthropic but hey, I made my wager.

Sorry if I'm rude but I'm right
I'll tell all my friends about this forum.

I don't have friends.
