I noticed irony too, in the way that Kaufman made a movie with the kind of ending he had said out to avoid. And although he seemed to feel superior to his brother he took a lot of his advice and actually owed a lot to him.

I knew I'd get comments like that, so I will adress this issue. Big Daddy is a favorite for nostalgic reasons and I Am Sam got me into The Beatles which was my launching pad to classic rock and to great music in general. Though perhaps it should be number 10 at best. Nice riff on my evolution comment by the way Holden, touche. As soon as I evolve I will update the list. That said perhaps you could recommend some movies that would speed up my evolution process

I've evolved too.

I used to like girls on trampolines, now I just like bouncing boobies. I don't need no stinkin' trampoline!

Ok I realized that although I owe a lot to I Am Sam musically, it is not the greatest movie. Plus I had left out a much better film, so I have replaced it. But I still stand by Big Daddy. I have a feeling that Donnie Darko will not last long on the list as I continue to watch more movies.
