Unknown japanese movie

Guys i really need help, somewhere in the back of my mind I remember someone teliing me that there is a great japanese movie and the premise is about:

2 samurais are talking in a room (for the majority or all) duration of the movie, and the movie ends as they walk out for the duel itself.

i have tried googling various variationsof what i typed , even resorted to google translating...but to no avail.

any help to identify this movie will be helpful as i am very intrigued by this premise

There's a trio of samurai films about a character called Musashi Miyamoto directed by Hiroshi Inagake and starring Toshiro Mifune. The last one in the trilogy of films (Duel at Ganryu Island) has Miyamoto putting off his duel with his rival till the end of the film.
Actually I don't think it's this film really but I'm just putting it out there as the trilogy is underappreciated
