Post your working. How exactly did you come to Howards End being best of 1992 by both audience and critical consensus for example?

People keep bringing up Children Of Men. That movie was all over the place. It did not make any sense. I thought it was a horrible pretentious piece of dribble.
Now Val Kilmer created the perfect image of one of the most memorable western characters in Tombstone and it was a travesty that he did not get nominated for Best Supporting Actor!

I would agree regarding Val Kilmer and Tombstone...he's pretty much the only thing that makes that movie worth sitting through.

As incredible as Do the Right Thing was, this was just not the kind of film that the Academy iikes to recognize but had to acknowledge so they nominated Aiello for Supporting Actor.

I may have mentioned this before but I thought Under the Skin should have got something – Scarlett Johansson in particular.

Also, Gary Oldman should have been more acknowledged with nominations and actual Oscars, and probably John Hurt as well actually.

What I believe should've won in regards to the films that were nominated for the past 69 years.

I'll never understand how Network seems to be a bit forgotten in general, to me it's so advanced to its time and I was baffled by it. I picked it up on a 1€ DVD shelf and had never heard of it, but seeing the cast I felt it would be good, and it certainly was. 1976 was a great film year full of classics, though.

I really think Judith Anderson should have won for Rebecca, as good as Jane Darwell was, her Mrs. Danvers was so spot on and she gave the character so many different facets.

Also, Joaquin Phoenix going unnominated for Her was a travesty.
