is my collection "that" bad ??

I don't think it's bad; just not a lot to say about it, I suppose. Decently sized (larger than my collection, at least), with a mix of stuff I like and stuff I don't. Pretty standard, I guess. Not sure what I could say about it beyond "hey, that's more DVDs than I have!"

No, it's not bad, there's lots of films in your collection I like, but as you ask for comments I'd say it's quite narrow in it's range. I think nearly all American films and all as far as I can see all English speaking. Of course I realise you're sticking to genres you like but sometimes it's nice to step outside and see what else there is

yea, you are correct, i like modern films i just cant get into the older ones, showing my age i think.

You should look at some non English speaking films though, you might be pleasantly surprised!

As Christine said, if you want comments, I'd like to see more range in terms of age of films as well as the 'quirkier', be that foreign or independent films. I don't know you, of course, but I'd guess that you're 20 or under and have only recently (last year or so) taken an interest in film as anything more than entertainment. If that's the case, then it's not a bad collection, if not, it's a very 'safe' collection, which is ok as it's what you like, but it offers little in terms of comments or discussion unless you want recommendations. Something that I'm sure many of the people here would be happy to make.
