Sorvino: Movie sex not always simulated

Well, most people don't go to watch the sex on the screen, some go to make their own movie...so to speak. I mean when you go to watch a movie, WATCH THE MOVIE...don't be doin that crap that other people have to see or hear.

now, i've heard the boys bringing up Wild Things and i let it ride....till i saw Sades comment and i must chime in....that movie was so trashy and just plain bad. if Wild Things pleases the guys....what whould it's equivalent be for us women folk?? Sades? Thmilin? Bodhigrrl? maybe we need to make a movie.

Hmmm...a movie to match Wild Things for us gals...hmmmm...I'll have to get back to you on that. BTW patti, I think Bigvalbowski is a guy.

Please please please please please please please do not generalize me with the aforementioned "guys" who this pleases. If I wanted to see naked women, there is pornography. I have said it before, I will say it again: Wild Things is the worst movie ever! (Except maybe Varsity Blues) Do not think that I like it... In any way.

I don't know. I think a lot of movies are considered good movies, because the guys think a particular actress is hot...or there's some crazy sex scene in it. Wild Things was crap... that's a given. All anyone ever talks about is that stupid three-way. patti- ever see How to Make an American Quilt? Antonio Sabato Jr. is very tempting...as is Jareod Leto. That's my pick for now. A great movie, with nice things to look at as well...

It's not all about that scene. The twists and turns were pretty interesting. The movie knew it was crazy and going every which way...it became fun after awhile. Not great, but I thought it was fun in that respect.

It was totally predictable, for me anyways.

"sex sells", as they say, and there lots of different ways movies can be sexy....and i'm sure it's different for men and women, and it varies from person to person. generalizing is bound to offend someone and i try to minimize my generalizations to just joking and teasing ( sorry Sultan)
i personally dig the "love from a far"/ "unrequited love"/ shy girl/guy secretly lusts after her neighbor type set-up....it's sexy watching the "dance"....but then the actual gettin' together is kinda like icing on the cake for me.
i know Wild Things wasn't taking itself completely seriously and didn't feel the need to criticize it untill i saw how many people were raving about it.
i just watched "Oh Brother, Where Art Thou" and there's a brief little moment when Clooney's character is getting up close to his estranged wife (Holly Hunter) and you can see that as she catches a wiff of his hair gel and just being that close to him, her angry, rigid, determination to reject him from getting back into her life just melts away...from the expression on her face and how her body kind a wilts a bit....it's very brief but very sexy. holly hunter rocks in everything IMO...

sades, i haven't seen How to Make an American Quilt.....i know Antonio Sabato Jr. but i haven't seen Jared Leto in a movie thus far....i sure like his name. he's in three of four movies i missed and would like to see.

You're missing out big time patti. Go rent ...American Quilt right now! You'll love it. There's this scene with a drippin wet...oh, I won't spoil it for you.

I always thought the gals got the same kind of thing out of the beefcake vollyball scene with Tom and Val and the other sweaty shirtless fellas in Top Gun.

as for catchin' sexy scenes as a youngster i remember catching a eyeful of Robbie Benson in his underwear in some movie.....Ice Castles (i had to look it up- 1979)....and MAN! end of comment.
