Scary monkey movie i think exists?? help?

For years and years ive had this reaccuring dream about these people going on an expedition in the jungle for some lost totem or power supply or something and they come across these crazy ass scary looking ape creatures. Rest assured some people die, some dont. I only recently figured that this dream was a memory of a movie i watched when i was like 8. I cant figure out the name of the movie. PLEASE HELP!

The movie Congo is set in a jungle and has killer gorrilas in it. They go there looking for a special diamond.
