They had temporarily escaped the factories, the warehouses, the slaughterhouses, the car washes - they'd be back in captivity the next day but
now they were out - they were wild with freedom. They weren't thinking about the slavery of poverty. Or the slavery of welfare and food stamps. The rest of us would be all right until the poor learned how to make atom bombs in their basements.

Nadja (1994) - Produced by David Lynch - The closest thing there is to a Lynchian vampire movie. David Lynch plays a small part as the morgue receptionist.

You got some good choices there, Holden. I like "No Such Thing" and "Naked" a lot. And "King of Comedy" must be on of Scorsese's most underrated movies and one of De Niro's most forget-about efforts as an actor. It's currently on my Scorsese Top 3.

Donnie Darko. Dark, twisted, funny, saddening. Wonderful.

When I likes a film I latch on to it I does.

Right. Gotchya. Understood. Perhaps four or five more Darko mentions today would be appropriate? I fear you think yes.

Now calm down. Have some juice or something. Watch another movie already.

And honestly, sometimes I doubt your commitment to Sparkle Motion.

That was filmed in my own little stomping ground. It's my favorite Dillon movie and captures drug dependency perfectly.

No. I'm done. I promise. It was my first time. It was like how you keep talking about sex after you lose your virginity. Well. Not really like that. I'm done. I am.
