did ya hear it yet? i just heard it on nme.com, i couldn't wait for it to actually come out....awsome, i was a bit worried because i didn't think much of "do you want to", but it rocks!!

i have heard some new songs, not the whole album, and im very happy because all the songs ive heard up to now are very good in my opinion, i think this new album is at least as good as the first one, and the first video (Do You Want To) is also very cool, smart, ironic, and in general very franz ferdinand
it is released here the 4th october

Yeah, saw them in concert a couple of weeks ago, the new album is much the same as the last album, for me it lacks a real stand out song like Take me out, Jaqueline, Michael or the Matinee, but it might grow on me the more I hear it.

Not sure on first listening, it's always difficult with the second album, but as they're Scottish, I'll support them anyway!

Great band, but haven't got their new album yet. It might not be out here yet. I'm not sure if it's a must buy yet, even though you guys seem to dig it because I'm not a huge fan anyway but will probably wait and see what some of my die-hard franz buddies think of it.
