Havoc /w Tom Hardy

So Tom Hardy will star in upcoming action thriller, Havoc on Netflix to be directed by Gareth Evans who directed The Raid franchise. Anyone excited for this? I'm a big fan of Raid and Tom Hardy so i'm kinda getting my hopes up!

First look

Mm. I just hope Hardy doesnt go the way Nicholas Cage went in selecting his roles going forward. Say what you will about DiCaprio but hes always been in smart films. To see Hardy in flicks like this seems a waste.

The Good:
the opening chase.
The somewhat ambitious narrative,
Resulting in a couple of half engaging set-pieces.
Good use of music (instead of dreadful dialogue) on two instances.
Tom Hardy > Timothy Olyphant > Yeo Yann Yann bring some presence to it.
The Christmas eve setting.

The Bad:
The lame dialogue,
Resulting in a lack of emotional weight to pretty much every characters' enteractions.
Being too impressed with it's plotting.
So many shots being fired yet none of them hit the movie's length in the head to end 50 minutes sooner.

5/10.... Will he ever repeat The Raid?

Enjoyed the film as much as I enjoyed Gangs of London before that s2 moment.

The way this is described, I can't tell if it's a movie or TV show. Not sure it matters either...

Gotta pay the bills so you can go on to do weird and smalltime movies. It's what ScarJo did for years and I don't think she's a waste.
