Beyond the half-way point now, though in truth, I won't have a good feel for 2024, until summer of 2025 (I've only seen 32 features to date), so here's what I've liked so far. (I go with first theatrical releases, rather than film fests, etc, for my dates)

1. Exhuma (4.5 stars)
2. Juror #2 (4-stars for the next group)
3. The Thicket
4. Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga
5. Oddity
6. Ghostlight

10. Boy Kills World
9. A Quiet Place Day One

7. Beetlejuice Beetlejuice
6. Late Night with the Devil
5. Ghostlight
4. Abigail
3. Wild Robot, The
2. Deadpool and the Wolverine
1. Love Lies Bleeding

Abigail moved up several places after a second viewing. I still haven't seem Wicked or Gladiator 2, so I'll probably update this again in a week or so.

I haven't seen many so I don't list the full ten.

1. Longlegs
2. Exhuma
3. Maxxxine
4. Love Lies Bleeding

Everything else is just mediocre or worse.

I haven't seen Longlegs yet. I'm not a fan of watching horror movies in theaters. I need to be home under a pile of blankets.

May I strongly recommend Abigail?
