The Optimism of the Horror Genre

I agree with you, OG-.

I'd like to see you direct a horror movie. You've already got me interested. Are there any movies (other than the one you've mentioned already) that you would suggest we see? Ones that fit the "non-optimistic" qualities?

In Soviet America, you sue MPAA!

You shall get your chance. As for one's I'd recommend that aren't optimistic, I haven't seen it recently but I recall enjoying (much to my suprise) Wes Craven Presents: They. The Dawn of the Dead remake. In The Mouth of Madness (not particulairly scary, but highly entertaining). Audition. Haute Tension. And though it doesn't fit the optimism boldly, The Eye is a pretty effective flick.

Ahhh, "They". I have indeed seen that one. I found it quite interesting, even though it felt like the ending was rushed for me. As for the others, I will certainly look for them the next time I pay Blockbuster a visit!

Thanks a lot!

I got for good luck my black tooth.

Just so you know over the past few days you have been rapidly increasing the number of movies in my blockbuster.com queue

The Horror genre is one of my favorite genres and is very entertaining, watching people getting killed one by one or slaughtered all at once.
