How can it be your "favorite" and you don't even know the proper name of the frippin' movie? It is Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.

So many good movies, so little time.
I just saw The Umbrellas of Cherbourg (1964). Great movie!

Definitely. One of my all-time favorites. And Deneuve at her most knock-out-ish.

My favorite musical happens to be

Easter Parade
& Meet Me In St. Louis!!

i have little knowledge of musicals, but my faves are probably Phantom of the Opera, Seussical, and Footloose

I enjoyed Chicago and Moulin Rouge, both made me feel like less of a man though

I'd have to say "West Side Story" is my favorite.

One of the songs keeps getting stuck in my head. I do not know the title of the song, but I think a part of the lyrics went something like:

"The Jets are gonna have their way!! But just in case they jump us . . ."

Can't remember any more.

the song is officially called quintet because each group (the sharks, the jets, tony, maria and anita, first separatly, then overlapping) express their feelings about the coming 'rumble' (which is the next piece on the album)

it's one of my favorites on the album as well along with gee, officer krupke

2022 Mofo Fantasy Football Champ
The Lion King first and foremost, that is if Wizard of Oz doesn't count.

The Sound of Music is actually not bad.

After that, and aside from other Disney's I just haven't had any interest sparked into musicals.

Sorry Harmonica.......I got to stay here.
My favorite movie musicals are Grease and West Side Story. I was also lucky enough to see Ben Vereen on Broadway in Pippin, directed by Bob Fosse a few years back--would've like to have seen that made into a good movie!

This may not be from a great musical and this clip has no singing or dancing, but it has a deeply profound message.
