Question about Ryusuke Hamaguchi's Happy Days

Is there a Ryusuke Hamaguchi fan here who might know if the version of Happy Days that is streaming on the Criterion Channel is from the same video master that was used for the American blu-ray release?

If they're not the same source, which one is better in terms of PQ/AQ?

I started it on Criterion earlier. 2 hrs 19 minutes into it and taking a small break to eat something. 3 hours to go, yet.
Honestly, you should start it up before it goes away in a few days. It’s a very moving film.
