While they weren't transported into them both Spaceballs and Blazing Saddles have scenes where people see themselves on a TV/movie screen in real time. A similar gag often happened on The George Burns and Gracie Allen Show, where George Burns was able to watch what was happening elsewhere from the TV in his den.
