One of India's finest actors, Soumitra Chatterjee, has passed away at the age of 85 after contracting Covid 19.
People abroad will know him as the adult Apu from the third part of the Apu trilogy. He went to feature in other Satyajit Ray movies, which included the role of the famous detective Feluda.
