John Mahoney, Frasier's "Dad," dies

Sad to hear this news, as "Frasier" is still one of my favorite TV series. He was great in whatever movies he did, too.

Damn . Love Frasier and Mahoney was so important on the show, as entertaining as Frasier and Niles could be they were also over the top and could have gotten annoying if it wasn't for Martin as the straight man that found them just as insane as we did.

I liked him in Moonstruck.

I really liked him in Primal Fear, Say Anything, and Moonstruck. Just added greatness to whatever film he was in.

This is very sad...terrific actor...needless to say, I loved him as Martin Crane, but he made his first big impression on me in ,,,Say anything. He was brilliant in that film.

He was a terrific comedic actor and actor in general so sad to hear this he will be missed

I will agree with the comments above and add that I liked him in Frantic and In the Line of Fire. He will be sorely missed.
