Good list! Do you like Dream Theater a LOT, or is this just a type-O? (i know it's a simple mistake, I'm just being a smartarse.) Led Zeppelin is the best, and thank God that atleast 3 or 4 people put KISS on the list.

Oh BTW, I'm not British, I just read High Fidelity and they use that a lot. I'm not saying being British is bad, without them, we would have no Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd. . .hem hem. . .THE BEATLES!! And we would have no bands that KISS could idolize. So without them, we MIGHT not have KISS. Just making a point.

But then again, my list changes frequently.
Have you heard Opeth's older stuff? It's quite superior to just about all Dream Theater.

9.Lynard Skynard
8.System of a Down

4.Van Halen

cool list BTW on DC Talk have you heard the group members on-their-own albums? Anyway once you hear them (stereotype be-Kevin Max, empty- Micheal Tait, and Extreme Days, Toby Mac) the way the band blended different styles makes sense, all of their albums are good and in all different styles, but if I HAD to reccomend one, it would be stereotype be which is Kevin Max's one, the lyrics are so deep and themusic is awesome but not as rock more alternative, and KISS rocks, and without the Beatles...well there is no 'without the beatles' it would be too horrible.

Ohhh man you have no idea how right you are on everything! Yes I have haerd them by themselves, and I must say K-Max is awesome. I'm not to fond of Michael's stuff, but Toby Mac (who signed my DC Talk shirt) is my favorite. I see him live at Creation Fest every year, he is by far the best at pumping up a crowd. Have you heard of Creation Fest? There is Creation East, and Creation West. Four (or is it 3) days of the biggest christian bands, 100,000 people! Just go to
www.creationfest.com I have seen KISS live, and they are the coolest! And yes, without the Beatles,. . .ugh I'm gonna have nightmares.

Right now: Blackwater Park, but Still Life is right behind it.

GOOD CHOICE for bands, but not for songs. Sorry, KISS is my second favorite band of all time but that song just drives me crazy. If you're in to KISS in the 80's above the 70's or 90's, then I suggest Young and Wasted, Hide Your Heart, War Machine or maybe even Rise to It.
