Slasher Hall of Fame

As far as I know, this hasn't been a problem. I don't believe anyone minded when you all went over to the Sci-fi thread to defend The Thing. So I'm feeling pretty sure no one minds the extra chat in this thread, either. I just wish there was more chat on each selected movie. I made a post over in the Sci-fi thread, on how the chat only seems to get really going when it's a very popular movie, and someone says something against it. Like the chat with The Thing. That was close to a debate, but still, it was nice.

Why should here be any different than any other thread on the forum?

There has been so much talk about horror movies all over the place that this site's name should be changed to Horror Movie Forums.

Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't realize. I thought it was sort of fun. Hell, I thought you were OK with it. I'm truly sorry. Unfortunately, things like that will happen. What you should do, is the next time someone knocks one of your favorite slasher films, you should come in here and give them what for. Just teasing, sweetie!

Nope. Anybody can come in here and post, I just think a lot of people stay out of hall of fame threads because they don't have a horse in the race.

Why don't you and Citizen start a thread where you discuss happy movies, or something? I'm not being sarcastic - the horror fans on the board are simply enthusiastic about the genre. You should post more about genres you're enthusiastic about!

Sure, it was fun for you guys, but you were all backing each other up. I was fighting my battle all alone.

I didn't mind the discussion, but with everyone against me, it almost felt like an attack. But that's okay. I've come to expect that pretty much whenever I give my opinion of anything.

I know you guys are all just talking about the movies that you love. There's nothing wrong with that. I'm just kidding around. (Sort of ).

Unfortunately, I don't think enough people want to talk about my favorite movies. It gets lonely when I talk to myself.

I'll try to make more of an effort to respond when you are talking about a movie I have seen. I figured you had your own group of people talking with you, didn't know you were so lonely.

That's okay. I read a lot about the movies that I don't watch.

Most people don't watch the movies that I watch. I've been watching a bunch of Doris Day movies recently. Hopefully the Musical HoF will have some interesting discussions.

I watch the same movies that gbg does, and I would say what I think of most of the ones you like (or dislike), but either we'll agree or disagree, and you don't seem to like disagreements. If you say you'd like more discussions like The Thing, I'll try to comment more.
