I am working on trying to get together a very good/big horror movie selection. There are so many i don't even know where to start. Can anyone help and just llist all your favorite back in the day horror films, the classics, maybe even some new ones that have came out that have actually been really good? I have a ton in mind but since there are so many i am sure i am forgetting a bunch of even the classics.

Heres some I like, some are gimmies, but in no particular order:

Nightmare on Elm Street (1st one)
The Thing
Exorcist
Alien
Halloween
The Vanishing
Psycho
The Haunting (the orig mind you)
Don't Look Now
The Tenant
Shivers
Night of the Living Dead
Evil Dead
The Shining
The Changling
Eraserhead
Suspiria (great score, kinda lame plot, but good scares)
Repulsion
Carrie
Rosemary's Baby
The Fly
Invasion of the Body Snatchers (orig is best remake is ok)
Masque of the Red Death (Vincent Price rules horror)
The Pit and the Pendulum (1961)
The Day of the Triffids (1963, cool movie)
well I will stop there cause there is so many.
