I didn't make this list. I could log in and create a list with all 700 movies released this year on it. But I doubt anyone would bother to look through them all, they would either get too bored or their index fingers would seize up.
Or you could try to make a list that include the over 4,000 movies produced in 2013 by either the USA, India, China, Japan, France, Germany, Russia, Brazil or other countries.

It's hard for a movie to not be overrated when it's consistently rated as the best or among the best movies of all time.
Indeed. It's highly improbable that if you show Citizen Kane to someone he/she would like a movie like Citizen Kane more than anything else he/she had watched before. Just statistics.

Perhaps more appropriate would be films shown in US theaters in 2013, as then it actually reflects films we could have (likely) seen.
Surprisingly, only 10. I usually watch more than that but there a few I watched more than once and this was more of a year for me to buy films on DVD and Blu-ray than go to the theaters to watch them.
Only a few 2013 films, but I thought the thread is about how many films have you seen in 2013 (no matter what year they were released). In this case it's 508 for me.

34 movies released in 2013.I still want to see some,so probably it will reach 40.That's quite a lot according to my IMDB statistics,it's usually about 20 for each year.

Three. Man of Steel (about halfway through I wished I'd picked something else), Star Trek into Darkness(pretty good), and Gravity (awesome).
