movie about a man who cannot die need title please help

Please, does anyone know the name of a movie that takes place almost entirely inside a cabin style house? The farthest the characters get from the house is to go outside to smoke. The main character is a young college professor. He is moving and is having his friends over to help him pack. He pretty much tells his whole life story as the movie progresses. there is an older man who has a heart attack at the end, and the reason for his heart attack is that he finds out that the young professor is really his long lost father. You see, this young professor is actually thpousands of years old. He has some condition that makes it impossible for him to die. Every bit of damage to his body is healed immediately. He has to move a lot because he is unable to look aged because he cannot be damaged by the environment like the rest of us, and doesn't want people to become suspicious. At one point he illudes to the fact that he is the man who walked around telling stories of God who we have come to know as Jesus. He also had a hand in creating many other religions. He is dissapointerd because he intended for the stories to created better relatioships between people in general and all it has really do is to cause religious wars. Does this sound familliar to anyone. This movies was so profound and I would love to share it with my friends. If you know the title please let me know.

Sounds like a very interesting movie. I might have to check this out.

It had the potential to be an interesting movie but it never seemed to get anywhere. I didn't like it either.
