The Fate of the Furious (2017) -

While I still firmly believe that "cinematic experiences" like D-BOX are just gimmicky cash grabs, this film was a lot of fun in D-BOX. Popcorn flicks like this with a lot of action sequences are perfect for that format.

I still don't understand how this series went from stealing DVD players to superhero level ops, but it's an entertaining ride if you're willing to go along with it. It's over-the-top, and completely ridiculous at times, but I think it somehow really works for what this franchise has turned into.

I did find Vin Diesel a bit boring in this, especially in comparison to his more interesting co-stars. Dwayne Johnson is basically the Hulk in this film, and Jason Statham gets to stretch his Transporter legs again, which is always a pleasure to watch. It's been a long time since I walked out of the theatre with a smile on my face, so this was a rather pleasant surprise. Or maybe the seat moving around and shaking so much just scrambled my brains.

I LOVED Coherence despite it not being a perfect film, it clearly has many flaws, but it somehow still managed to be one of my favourite films of all time, I think that how good of an experience it was while watching the movie, is what sold me on it the most.

This probably airs here every Easter so it's just become a tradition for me to watch it. Charlton Heston, you have such big teeth!

I didnt last the whole movie this year but this is always a fun watch from the golden years of hollywood. Family bucket of poppycock is my rating.

I usually love indie films, but this one just did not do it for me. According to the ratings on Rotten Tomatoes, I guess I was supposed to like this movie, but I did not.

Dheepan (2015):

Great film. The acting is incredible, the cinematography is great, the directing is impressive, the story is engaging and personal. Although the third act is where most of my issues with the movie reside, they aren't substantial enough to weigh the experience down. I definitely recommend Dheepan, you might easily end up surprised by what it offers.

Rotten Tomatoes is the worst site to take advice from, just look at the logic of its rating system, a film can get a 90% - 100% score, even if all of the reviewers agreed that it's just an okay movie.

This is an Italian cannibal film that is more erotic than the likes of Cannibal Holocaust and Cannibal Ferox, but without the animal killings. You would think that would mean this is better; not quite, but I liked it. The story is besides the point. There's just something about naked bitches in a dangerous jungle that appeals to me, and the cannibals in this movie bring a whole new meaning to the phrase, "eating p***y". A good cheesy soundtrack too.

This should be put on your tombstone.

I wondered earlier is this the Emanuelle softcore porn films and i guess they are. All i remember is Emanuelle In Space was awesome when i was just discovering "naked bitches in dangerous outer space".

Manchester By The Sea. Ohh dear I'm finding this quite a hard watch. Great acting, looks good, but so bleak. I dont even know how I'd rate it. Just hangs really heavy for me. Looking forward to see what others who love it have to say about it so I can get a different spin on it.

It's not like it's even a good set up to a bad movie, rather a good set up to a patchy set up to a terrible movie.
