Hearsay about celebrities after their deaths. Do we give credence?

Re: Hearsay about celebrities after their deaths. Do we give credence

I'd go with "just move on". There's nothing productive about post-mortem rumors and accusations. The perpetrator is dead, can't be convicted, absolved or confronted. I can see why people drag up...

Nope, but I never looked, never expected it. This is probably a forlorn quest since most people alive today have never heard of the movie.

Re: Satyricon: Is there an edition where the dubbing always matches li

Good dubbing is something I've never seen. I'd rather just do subtitles. It's not just the matching of lips, but the inflection, emotion and everything else about dubbing. It just doesn't work...

Re: Hearsay about celebrities after their deaths. Do we give credence

For a lot of crimes, the statute of limitations ends with death. Being a cynic, I know that money, fame and influence have a malign effect on behavior and I know that the rich and famous pay people...

I know that I will get beat up again for saying this, but all of these arguments about movie fascism strike me as exercises in an almost humorous, academic over-thinking. Having grown up around old...

Yeah, I recall that one with the self-sealing pyramid and the sinful lovers entombed in it. That pyramid was, indeed, sealed but by far more labor intensive means, not nearly as clever as the movie...

After seeing it, I think we just need a new "monster". Godzilla and all those big Japanese reptiles are used up.

Personally, I'd opt for a big slug that drowns its victims in slime. The only...

Worst is good as an admittedly subjective, personal reaction. It ain't science but used in the right context, it's a worthwhile word because it expresses your reaction to the movie. I know what it...

Re: What's the single worst film you've ever seen?

I've seen plenty of inept, cheap, cheesy movies, but "Worst" is a special word. That would be reserved for a flick I saw in something a long ago, somehow, not knowing what it was. It was a 1970...

It's not the money, but the whole concept. I don't think I would want one except as a curious novelty that costs $100. In a year or two, someone will have a knock-off for about that anyway.
