Re: Jurassic World

Seeing Gray run around the park with a huge grin on his face made me feel like a kid. It was awesome. Such a well done, yet simple blockbuster.

Re: Jurassic World

I want to make a mention of the subtle things this film did right that a lot of critics are accusing it of doing wrong.

All the characters in the original JP are simple, and their costumes stand...

Congratulations to Trevorrow and company!

I'm not a big superhero fan, so its nice to see dinosaurs rule the world yet again. Besides the way it was shot, this film has all the characteristics of...

Re: Jurassic World

I personally thought it was great. One of the most worthy sequels I've ever seen. Made me feel like a kid again. I feel like some people are taking it too seriously.

Glad to see its doing well.

Re: Rank The Indiana Jones Movies

Pratt is the only actor right now who could do the role justice. If they're gonna do it, might as well be with him.

Re: Best Picture Oscar 2015

I love how every frontrunner for Best Picture gets talked down simply for being the obvious choice.

No other film deserves it but Boyhood. It was an amazing achievement that won't be replicated...

Re: Early Oscar contenders for 2014 (so far??)

Birdman, Boyhood and Nightcrawler were all fantastic films that deserve awards IMO. Also Grand Budapest Hotel.

Lego Movie and How to Train Your Dragon 2 were great animated films.

This wasnt a...

Is this a joke? Not only is that not the new dinosaur, it's super easy to find that information through a quick Google search.

Snake. Cuttlefish. T-rex. Velociraptor.

I'll leave it at that.

If "Boyhood" doesn't win Best Picture and Best Director, it's simply a travesty. It's not even possible for a better, more innovative film...

Nothing will ever top the 2003 Oscars for me. I actually find myself caring less and less about them each year. I like having a clear favorite to root for through the ceremony.

Love that one! I love how nothing in that movie is supposed to be taken seriously. At the same time, it's not "in your face" comedy either.

And how can we forget the most tragic coen bros....

Re: The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey

Which is why I saw the film in 3D 48fps first. However, PJ had to know that it wasn't a safe choice to make.

He's watched hours upon hours of footage at 48fps, so that might be the reason he...

I understand people hating 48fps. I hate it myself, and I can't for the life of me figure out why making a film look like a cheap soap opera is supposed to be more immersive.

However, you would...

I think it's just all in the way you look at it. 3D never made me sick. I've seen newer T.V.'s with interpolation and (IMO, I'm sure this is just a matter of taste) it's simply amazing.
