This is very true because I really didn't do a whole lot. I stole a roll of toilet paper as I left work. When I got home, I didn't pull into the garage as I didn't want the dogs to go crazy waiting for me. Those woods are in back of my house. I did have to fight through the thorns and it took a couple tries to position the camera correctly in the rain, but those were my only obstacles. I got back in the car and went to post before pulling into the garage. I thought my wife was at her dentist appointment but she cancelled it. She texts me asking me what the hell i'm doing down there because she saw me walk into the woods 20 minutes earlier. Anyway, after posting I pmd everyone online asking if they'd rep my post for a game challenge, which is something I thought everyone was going to do. I stopped after SC called the challenge or else I probably would have gotten 50 rep. I went to bed before the deadline so I do think I could have been beaten. I'm not complaining because it is the type of challenge that gives me a chance to win, not by being creative, but by being outrageous.

Game Critiques

What is everyone's problem with this game so far?

My only problem is the speed at which things have happened. I think I've mentioned this in the thread, but it seems like too much, too soon. I'd like to see some break time in between tribals and the next challenge, and wider gaps between any "extras".

What would you like to see performed differently?

Creative challenges like the writing or toiler paper ones should probably have 48 hours to complete, as well as firm deadlines that are only broken if everyone has submitted, or stated that they aren't participating.

What would you like to see happen in this game that hasn't happened yet?

I have no idea. This is why I'm not the host. :lol:

Swan. He's a really cool dude, but he didn't really have the drive to play. I think he'd be a good Survivor, but I understand that the time commitment and pressure are not for everyone.

Honestly, I'd be happy to make it to the final three with anyone I've been working with in this game. But, I think it would be hilarious if Suspect, Raul, and I were in the finals somehow. You'd all have to crown a legitimate two-time winner then!

CiCi for sure. It would be like when you did the fake reveal in Survivor 6 and said that Omni had voted for Donnie instead of me. My heart sank a little.

I honestly don't think that Suspect is Velvet. I would not believe it if Velvet turned out not to be an alt at all, but I think he's someone else. Whether or not that person is currently playing the game under another name remains to be seen.

I feel like this is really geared towards the people who have not been named in the question, but I guess I'll answer it anyway. If say, a third or half way through the game you wanted to have a challenge where the previously eliminated players could compete against each other (and/or with the remaining players) to earn their way back into the game, then that would be fine, and a fitting challenge considering the theme.

Velvet messaged me earlier, a little upset that people didn't like him. I told him that it wasn't really personal, and that people just didn't trust him because he gave off serious alt account vibes. I tried to convince him to come clean in the thread, since maybe some people wouldn't feel that about him after he revealed the truth. At the very least, people might respect his honesty.

He did just that, but I think so many people mentioning him in their challenge answers hurt his feelings. He said that maybe he should just quit. I responded telling him not to, and to wait and see how everyone reacts first. I don't know if he got that message or not before posting here about quitting.

For the record, I'm going to come clean and say that I was the one who threatened to quit if SC brought back eliminated members a few posts ago.

I honestly wouldn't quit though. I stayed with Survivor 7 after the dramatic reset, and I never gave up on Survivor 8. I just wanted to scare SC out of doing something that I thought would be detrimental to game. Sorry about that, SC. This is very true because I really didn't do a whole lot. I stole a roll of toilet paper as I left work. When I got home, I didn't pull into the garage as I didn't want the dogs to go crazy waiting for me. Those woods are in back of my house. I did have to fight through the thorns and it took a couple tries to position the camera correctly in the rain, but those were my only obstacles. I got back in the car and went to post before pulling into the garage. I thought my wife was at her dentist appointment but she cancelled it. She texts me asking me what the hell i'm doing down there because she saw me walk into the woods 20 minutes earlier. Anyway, after posting I pmd everyone online asking if they'd rep my post for a game challenge, which is something I thought everyone was going to do. I stopped after SC called the challenge or else I probably would have gotten 50 rep. I went to bed before the deadline so I do think I could have been beaten. I'm not complaining because it is the type of challenge that gives me a chance to win, not by being creative, but by being outrageous.

This might sound awful since it's a psych test, but I am reminded of Charles Manson, with his eyes and all of his dark, shaggy hair around his face. I also think I see two women reading books while sitting comfortably.

I have no idea what his name is, but as a teenager I spent a year with the Royal Canadian Air Cadets. As part of a mandatory 2-week long field trip, we went to a cabin out in the woods and learned the basics of surviving: how to build a shelter, start a fire, how to follow tracks while remaining out of sight, how to read a compass and map, and other things I'm sure I've long since forgotten. The man in charge of my group clearly knew what he was talking about, and I suspect he was probably an actual veteran. He's clearly the first person I thought of, because he's the only person I've ever met who I'd trust to actually know the way, or at the very least, stay alive out there.

I've had recurring dreams about a supernatural entity that was trying to kill people in the house I grew up in. It's a heritage building that was originally a morgue, then later a tailor. It was never meant to be a home for people to live in. My grandparents renovated it, and my mother's family who grew up in the house were terrified of one room in particular. That room eventually became my bedroom. I didn't know about the house's history when I first had the dream, so I don't think I was influenced by their stories. To this day my mother refusing to remove various spiritual items (belonging to various faiths) from that part of the house, despite not being a religious person herself.

The entity starts as a typical ghost that can possess inanimate objects, but its presence becomes more demonic as it takes a more solid form. When it is able to physically interact with the world, it wears a long red, hooded cloak that leaves its face completely black. Its fingers are elongated, and covered in diseased or rotten flesh. It always kills my closest friends simply by touching them, or pulling them through the floor or walls. Since I've generally had the same friends since I was a kid, it's almost always the same people.

Somebody you secretly love, but you cannot act on your fantasy about them, gives you a passionate kiss, and walks away. This person, without warning, dies three days later. Days later, the ghost of this person visits you in your room at night. What does this ghost tell you to do with the rest of your life?

He'd tell me to get the hell out of this province. He'd tell me that there's no real future here for me, and that every second I spend on this island is another second closer to death. He'd tell me that I need to find the drive to do what I want to do, instead of settling for a mediocre existence. He'd tell me not to be afraid of trying and failing, because staying here makes me a failure any way. Then he'd probably blame me for his death.

Even if you can't do everything you want to do in that single day, what do you WANT to do the most? I think I would just like to get things off my chest. I'd go down to work (the place where I've been the past few years, not my new, second job) and tell my manager how I really feel about her. How she's completely two-faced, how she talks down to us all the time, and how frustrating it is to come to her with a problem you can't solve, just for her to say "I don't care, just get it done".

Then I'd call my father. I'd tell him how disgusting it is that he's dating a woman that's only 2 years older than me. I'd tell him how I'm only pretending that it's not completely creepy because he has anger issues, and I'm afraid I'm going to need to ask him for money, so I don't want to cause a rift between the two of us in case I need his help.

I briefly knew someone who had eyes exactly like that dog. He asked me to move to another part of the country with him, even though he didn't have a place to stay or any real plans about how he would make a living. He intended to couch surf until he found something more permanent. Needless to say, I didn't go with him. I never heard from him after that either, and I legitimately don't even remember his name any more, just his piercing blue eyes.

We don't have trains here. There used to be a railway that ran across the province, but it ceased to exist before my time. There is a train car not far from the house I grew up in, that's rusted to the tracks outside a small museum. I remember being young and climbing on top of it with my friends. One time, a girl I knew climbed into it from a small hole on the top, then started screaming about spiders. People used to make up stories about it being haunted, but I don't think any of them were true.

Something incredibly creepy did happen to me and my friend there once, but I didn't realize how insane it was until years later. I was only in grade 3 or 4 at the time. I was playing with my friend around the pond next to the old tracks. The town had just started to build a wooden board walk around it. This older gentleman approached the two of us and asked if he could take our picture. He proceeded to take a series of photos of the two of us hanging around the train. He got our names and addresses, then later came by the house with a small photo album of the pictures he had taken. I still have them at my mom's house.

He could've been a paedophile. I could've been murdered. I can't even imagine what my parents must have thought.

It reminds me of Noel Fielding, and The Mighty Boosh in particular. Their logo was a hand-drawn gorilla skull, that doesn't quite look like that, but it makes me think about the show anyway. As such, I have a bit of a deranged looking grin at the moment, as I think about some of the ridiculousness the show entailed.

Honestly, it repulses me a little. I find the overly-muscular body builder physique to be quite disgusting. It just looks so unnatural, and the visible veins look absolutely horrible. A toned body is nice, but I feel like these guys go way too far, and make me feel like they're trying to overcompensate for something.

What is something about yourself that makes you proud?

I won a few awards in University for academic excellence. I'm proud of that because I had a huge crisis half-way through my time there, and actually left for a couple of years while I tried to decide what I wanted to do with my life. I returned with a vision and purpose, and I wanted to succeed. It was hard work, but it was fun because I really enjoyed the courses I was taking. I had a 4.0 GPA, made the Dean's List, and got hired as an intermediate German tutor in a position that usually goes to an exchange student from Germany, or to another native speaker. It was the proof I needed that I could accomplish my goals if I could find the passion to see them through to the end.

I never did anything with my degree because I don't have the money to leave this province and there are no relevant jobs here, but I'm still proud of what I did and the accolades I earned doing it.

There was a Haunted House in my Area as a kid that we were told was a secret Nazi experimentation building/morgue during the war by older kids (sorry to anyone this is offensive to, this was just what i was told and believed) place as a kid. It's kind of hilarious, because literally every word of it is true.

Before it became my bedroom, it was a storage room that no one had used for a decade. My mom and her brothers and sisters were terrified of it. When I was 8 or 9, my dad combined that storage room with the bedroom right next to it when he changed the shape of the upstairs hallway. My bed was originally in the other "room" (they were combined into one but had an archway since dad didn't want to get rid of the wall). The nightmares didn't start until I moved it into the part that was previously the abandoned, potentially haunted storage room.

Someone committed suicide in my childhood bedroom. Ten years before I moved into it, a man blew his brains out in what would later become my bedroom. I had no idea until years later, though. I knew someone committed suicide in the house, but never knew which room it was until years later. It was my room.

Jesus. When i was a kid i lived 5 floors up in a 23 story building (i've posted the video of the building being demolished before here) and a woman was trapped in the house directly below mine while it was on fire, she died screaming and begging for her life. My mum said it really traumatized her and that her and my dad basically grabbed both of us and put us in the room furthest away from the shouting (my mums room) with the TV blaring as loud as possible which is why i don't remember it and yet i do remember a woman dying in the floor below me. Really messed up and i'm really glad my mum shielded me from that.

Oh for sure. He signed the photo album as "Your Friend", which I knew was creepy even at the time. He told me where he lived too; it was just around the corner from my house.

I remember when he approached us by the train tracks, said he was a photographer and asked if he could take our pictures, we said we didn't have any money. He said he wanted to do it for us, and that it would be free. Thinking back on it now, it's both horrifying and hilarious.

9. Better to be athletic than over-the-top-muscled. It might seem like people would be amazingly healthy if they work out a ton, but in my experience with sports, people who over-work out get injured more. They overwork themselves, don't have a lot of flexibility, and their bones break easier. A few years ago I helped save the field behind me from being built on by the Scarborough council. These are new friends of mine. Met tvem through an old Italian hortor film composer who kinda adopted ne a few years ago. He made us cross paths and I love what they do. While not the hottest man possible, I'd take him. I love his necklace. I like his facial hair and short hair, his facial expression, his rippling muscles. I am even kinda intrigued by the fact that he has an earring. This man is strong and commanding - I chose his picture for this test out of a bunch of other pictures of bodybuilders, so that must mean something. I have no what this man may really be like, but I like what I see so far, based on this image alone. He looks valiant. He looks a little rough. I would probably root for him if he was on Survivor or Big Brother.
