The fact I didnt do better will is always gonna bug me me. Thanks for the host though SC, I know we had our differences but you are really a good guy. Apologies to everybody I upset in any way. Congrats Suspect on the win. Congratulation to Cosmic and 7thson and everybody else who played. This game really was an emotional roller coaster for me and probably some if not all of you but I enjoyed it and just wanna say thanks for letting me play and just thanks to everybody.

I was worried a 3-way tie was coming and I was right. I PM'ed him last night asking him to give me a tie-breaking vote just in case. I told him to tell me who his top two people were. This was in case there was some other kind of tie and his 1st choice wasn't in there -- like, if Suspect and you had 4 votes each, Cosmic had 1, Cosmic wouldn't be included.

Suspect was his #1 choice.

That is cool, such power.

Good question, and I thought that was going to be the case going in and it didn't end up happening. I only talked to Cat and Jeff since yesterday. I had a guess how she was voting but wasn't sure, and I'm pretty sure she didn't know how I was voting. I talked to Jeff yesterday a little more specifically about the vote, but neither one of us knew exactly how the other was going to vote. In fact, I I think I indicated to him that I was leaning a different way then I eventually went. So, there was no collusion.

Now that things have wrapped up I wanted to share a few things. I did not want to share them during the jury debate because I did not want them to either make or break any chance I had.

First off, I love this ******* game. It is not because of the prize at the end of being crowned winner. (I am not saying that is a bad thing, I am just saying it is not why I play). I love this game for the same reason I love this forum. To me it is an online family with all the trials and tribulations that brings - it really does feel like home. Especially these games. We all share something when we play, at least those of us that truly play, and in this game I feel that so many put their hearts into it.

My individual player proclamations (If I do not mention you it does not mean anything other than we did not converse much or do much together, but I do think we all played a great game)

I like to think even though we clash that you and I are very much alike. We have this protective aura that is instilled in us. Not like a Papa bear type thing, but more like a "Don't mess with Us" Texas type thing. I respect that greatly and I want to say that if we had hooked up early on I think we would be unstoppable. I was never in the enviable spot you were (and that is my fault) of having this alliance I wanted to protect. You seem like a trustworthy guy, a bit unorthodox, but hey that is a compliment my (I hope) friend.

Damn you did some crazy **** - has your better half seen the pic of you and the cat in the privy? I wish you the best and hope to connect with you more in the future.

What can I say, you remind me of my college days when things were wild and fun and just downright wrong in a fun way that made me smile. Where no one gets hurt but they do embarrass themselves at times. You seem like you would be a blast to just hang out with, and I would probably get in trouble or arrested.

My connection to you never really felt like much until the last few votes. To me you were not really sharing with me on a deeper level like someone in a true alliance would. Obviously I was wrong and I am sorry I did not reach out more. To be completely honest I saw you as a lackey to Suspect. I, of course, only mean in game play, you are definitely independent and can handle yourself very well. I wish, again, I had reached out more to you as a player. I do not know if it would have helped my game, but I think I would have appreciated your moves more. Your story about fear meant a lot to me, it touched me deeply and I am glad you have grown into the strong person you are.

Although we did not talk much to each other we sure as hell made a difference in the game. We have that much to say for ourselves and I thank you for that. lets do it again sometime :).

I could go on and on about you my brother, but I will keep it simple and to the point. You played a hell of a game and you kept everyone at exactly the distance they needed to be. I almost went after you, not because of mistrust, but because I knew it would be tough to beat you in the final. I am not sad about letting you stay in the game (just let me have that statement please ;) ) You earned your win this game and I was very proud to have been by your side in the finals.

About why I voted the way I did-

7thson played a better game than I thought he did and that earned him much more thought than I thought I'd give him. I liked the fact that he was working with Yam and working both sides. There's just one thing that really put me off. He said multiple times about how trust was important and he at least needed to be in the loop. When we were down to the final 7 after Raul was voted out, me, Cat, and Jeff had to consider three possibilities; that 7th and Yam would again both vote with us, or they'd vote against us, or that one would and one wouldn't. You see, I was telling Yam and 7thson the same things, hoping at least one would vote with us to get to a duel. The reason I wasn't completely forthcoming with 7thson and Yam that we were splitting the votes is because the odds were that at least one of them wouldn't be with us. With the idol out there we couldn't afford to let one wrong person know the plans, because we had no idea who that one wrong person may be. So, 7thson, if you were forthcoming about working and voting with yam then this wouldn't have been the same concern. It's not a problem to try to get info from others while also holding out for yourself. The problem comes when you're in the final three and you preach one way but you did the same thing yourself. It is hypercritical. Not only that, but you had no idea we were splitting the votes, and then afterward you acted like you voted against us because we did that. You had no clue we were doing that when you voted. If you know it or not, you are misdirecting as to your reasons for that decision. Again, the problem for me was that you were still doing it once it didn't matter anymore. I am not necessarily of the belief that this was all your intention.

I was leaning towards Cosmic going into the question and answer period and it was painful for me to not vote for her. I believe she played the best social game and she really put herself out there. She also excels at strategy and challenges. I saw no weaknesses in her game. When it came to the answers to my questions, she answered everything the way I expected her to; no points lost and none gained. TUS answered the questions and really gave me what I needed to hear, confirming some suspicions and enlightening me to other things. I won't get into everything but for one thing he said he wanted Cosmic to be viewed as the bigger threat. When I asked around who everyone thought the first blindsided should be, his was the name that was coming up. I believed it was Cosmic, and the truth is I still don't know if I was right or wrong, but I do know that I thought the way he wanted me to think. The biggest factor and ultimately deciding difference came to one round, the round that TUS beat Velvet in a duel. When we all voted for Cosmic, I had said that I screwed up and that strategy wasn't supposed to work for them. While that is true, it at least caused us to have some confusion, and the fact is their strategy ended up getting their side a needed win. So what I didn't know was that idea was Suspect's. This was the biggest round of the game that would shift the entire balance of power. Not only did TUS plan the round's strategy, he won the duel with velvet. The final 3 likely looks completely different otherwise. Btw, it wasn't supposed to be TUS in the duel but someone jumped the gun with their vote, more testament to our confusion. So yea, I thought that round was the biggest moment of the game and TUS owned it. I had other subtle reasons for voting him but I can't really remember right now. I think he had everything stacked against him due to his reputation and that also factored into my thoughts.

Afraid I've not really been a prolific contributor in this thread, so I think it's only appropriate I say couple of quick words now that the game is over.

First and foremost, my compliments to the curator (Celebrity) for being helpful and always approachable. I entered the game completely clueless and I was grateful you took time to explain me some basic regulations at the beggining.

Obligatory congratulations to the winner and everyone who ended up on the podium ! And of course special thanks to people who were willing to talk and cooperate with me on a regular basis. I'm sure they know who they are. It was a pleasure playing alongside you.

Also Cricket and Celebrity, I really appreciate your encouraging words about me as a player. It definitely feels nice to receive some post-mortem recognition.

Cosmic because she's probably the person I knew the best and spoke to the most. She's also funny and charming with a big presence on the site.

Quite cheap but the ending since I really didn't know who was going to win, and with it being a three way tie, it was fun.

I think learning about the players, their experiences and what they've endured was difficult to read. Cricket and Velvet exploding was unpleasant to watch as well in a sad way.

The way the alliances worked in the beginning was baffling and unlike anything I've experienced in any other survivor game. So how people managed stay on top of it is beyond me

Suspect for winning twice despite always being a main target. Again, 7thson managing to pull off that game style was impressive.

I was quite upset when I was eliminated to be honest, and my heart did sink when I found out. I can't explain it, but I never think of myself as a threat, just a loudmouth who enjoys pretending to be sassy women. I'm not intelligent as the other bigger names, but then again that's probably why they lasted longer.

I adored the write your own horror story challenge. I hated the posting pictures ones though. But that's just personal preference.

My favourite player would be a tough call between Cricket and Suspect, but I think my favourite person was actually Raul. Partly because of his usual persona, but also due to his choice of character, which lead to some amusing posts (and a great video). His avatar made me love everything he said haha.

Everyone who posted pics of their characters or RPed in the thread. Other than the challenges, that's my favourite part of these games, and it's nice to see so many people keeping the thread alive and entertaining.

I don't think I really have a favourite moment, but my proudest moment was probably edging out 7thson in round one of the trivia game. I seriously thought I had no chance at winning that haha.

Raul getting voted out was the most disappointing thing to happen, especially since I thought everyone was on the same page before then. It was like the CiCi blindside all over again.

I don't think I learned anything new about myself or how I behave, but I learned that Cricket has a very cunning mind, and that you should always look out for the quiet ones. ;)

I think most people are going to remember the drama caused by the triple immunity reveal for a long time, and I hope that everyone involved can eventually laugh about the whole thing, and that it has no long-term ill effects on anyone inside the game or out.

I think Cricket and 7thson played really smart games. At the start I was probably the most foolish, since I trusted everyone I talked to.

Honestly, no one upset me.

My favourite challenge was definitely the campfire horror story one. I had a lot of fun writing my entry, and easily could've expanded the final act. I originally intended to have some Cronenberg style body horror play into it, but figured my word count was high enough as it was, so I sort of rushed the ending haha.

My least favourite challenge was having to choose a grave. I don't like games that involve no skill, especially if it's easy to rig.

I'm coming home, because I don't really belong out in the wilderness, and having been stuck out there for so long would make the allure of my comfy chair and warn blanket too irresistible to go anywhere else.

I'd probably go visit my mom. Since I don't have a car or the desire to go back to my hometown, I only get to see her a couple of times a year. Since my parents split up she's been coming in town more often, so I have actually seen her more this year than in the previous ones, which is nice. It's actually her birthday in two weeks, so she would be the logical choice.

You wake up early in the morning feeling totally refreshed, alive, happy and vibrant. You just had the best dream you've had in awhile. What did you just dream about?
Finding my way into a job that is related to my interests (working on a film set, writing, or designing something), and making enough money with it that I don't have to worry about the rising cost of living.

Alternatively, successfully robbing a bank and fleeing the country.

Someone I've spoken to a lot over private message on this forum, whose identity I will not disclose without their permission, tells me that he's managed to overcome a lot of the obstacles standing in the way of his health and happiness.

Are we talking about the woods in general, or these Survivor woods? The real woods don't scare me, not on this island at least. It's like, 90% woods here, so you kind of get used to it. But a nightmare involving this game would be, once it got down to the final 6 people or so, we have a huge reset that means we have to play the entire game over again. I'd cope by posting copious amounts of my pencil-snapping gif.

Have to go with Cat since I talked to her the most. She is loyal, supportive, and a shltload of fun. We would have been a great match if we met earlier in life.

My saddest moment is ongoing. I would never personally hold Yam's betrayal against him, yet I would like a detailed explanation of his thought process. That's not the sad part, but rather the fact that he has ignored my pms and in thread requests for said information. *Complete failure to even acknowledge me makes it seem personal to me and I've always liked him since he's been a member.

That I still have a competitive spirit.

Based on the evidence that I have, I'll go with Jeff as smartest. He knew nothing about the game going in. I started explaining alot of the strategy I was doing which wasn't exactly basic, and he understood it very quickly. It got to the point very soon that we were on the same page completely. He would send me a message saying what about if we would do this, this, and this, in case of this, and I would say wow that's exactly what I had in mind. It was uncanny. Least smart is myself because I had a very good plan in place from the beginning but a couple minor mistakes screwed it up.

Besides Yam, obviously SC. My love for the game the way it's played traditionally is a contributing factor to that. However, I am at peace with it.

The nudity challenge that 7thson put out resulted in a ton of laughs for me. From the host, I really enjoyed the 20 question horror challenge. My least favorite was the writing challenge simply because it's not something I enjoy.

I think I've said everything that was on my mind, maybe give Hashtag a little shout out since I mentioned the rest of my alliance. He was also a very important teammate for a variety of reasons.

CosmicRunaway At times it felt like us against the world. Our gameplay was very similar and I never had doubts in our alliance. You are extremely skillful at this game and deserve all the accolades you get and more.

cricket I hate to sound like a broken record, but you ran this game. The issue with that is that everyone knew it. I find it funny that we had similar ideas that both failed due to miscommunication on the exact same 'round'. One of our votes should have gone to Velvet as I knew you would have used the idol. Oh well, it worked out in the end for US!!! :p

The lengths you went for those pictures and immunity show your strengths and determination. Which is both good and bad in this game. But I feel like you HAD to do it because you were always the target. Now you know how it feels, hahaha. Survivor X MVP here.


7thson I honestly thought you were going to win this game. You did all the right moves to get to the finals, even if it meant people not knowing where you leaned. Being an unknown can be beneficial and dangerous. For you it worked. I trusted you throughout the game even if it seemed like I didn't. I said from the beginning either you or Nostromo would win and I wonder how different this game would have been if he didn't quit.


rauldc14 I felt like we were acquaintances through cosmic, even if we did talk a bit early. I never didn't trust you, but I knew you were always closer with Cosmic. We were together in the first Survivor and ever since then I feel like you've been targeting me. So it was nice to get back to basics this time around.

Velvet Sorry that you've gone through some crappy stuff this game, with people accusing you of being an Alt. It was exciting having a duel against you, you're a worthy opponent.

I knew I was putting a target on myself with the CiCi move and that was intentional. I told everyone in my alliance that I'd be public enemy #1. I just thought that everyone's life in my alliance was just as important as mine if I and we were to go far. I thought with my ability to be on line around 20 out of 24 hours a day would leave me the best equipped to see what else was going on out there, therefore leaving me best equipped to save myself via moves, bluffing, participating in imprompu challenges, shaking things up, etc.

I thought it was his time to win. He is a very underrated survivor player and he had a good strategy this time. I meant what I said about being in final 2 with him, but it didn't matter since he still made it and it wasn't a final 2. I think I prefer a final 2 as it brings a different strategy to the game

It was my favorite character to roleplay with. I sincerely enjoyed that video challenge.

My dream cast for the Cash Game
TheUsualSuspect - would love to see how the two time winner would adapt his game this time. He plays a different game Everytime and it usually works.
Sexy Celebrity - will he quit? Will he win? Either way, he will bring the most fun to the table.
CiCi - he drew the Short end of the stick this past game, but he's as socially capable at this game as anybody is.
edarsenal - did excellent in survivor 9 and I think he can build on it.
Velvet - after careful analysis, he seems to have a very good passion for this game.
cat_sidhe - the best of the new players (and cricket obviously). Just a joy to be around
Topsy - long lost on the forum, but if she returns, it would bring excellent life to this game.
CosmicRunaway - my favorite survivor player perhaps of all time. Please don't retire from this.
seanc - he has to play this time around because he is the man. And he brings a great comedy and spirit to the game
Swan - but I want the Swan from the first couple survivors. Honestly he was a great player in survivor 1 and 2.
Captain Spaulding - a bit of a wildcard, but his banter would be fricken hilarious with SC
donniedarko - need a legend to come back. And this is my pick.
TONGO - nobody is better at roleplaying than Tongo and nobody has been better at breathing life into this game.
Nope1172 - a great competitor that should certainly get another shot at this game.
rauldc14 - because I'm for sure in
Yam12 - just would be curious to see how he would play again. Seems to have a love for the game.

Now obviously people like cricket Cobpyth Rhys and Daniel M would be great, but those would be stretches.

Also HashtagBrownies and CaptainT would be good, but I limited it to 16 people.

Favourite - Probably the questionnaire as it was nice to get to know the others a bit more

Least favourite - The pick graves challenge as it didn't seem to involve much skill and was based mostly on pure luck

Thought the round could come down to a duel since we didn't know Yam and 7th were working together. Hadn't seen Raul in action in one of those so just took a guess that he may be the weakest. Also, with him not being online a whole lot, thought he may be the least likely to pull an idol.

I didn't doubt this which is why I said if, and that's why I said you were the best social player. I think that you touching base with most people is part good strategy to get your foot in the door, and part just who you are. However, until the CiCi vote, I hadn't been contacted one single time by CiCi, Raul, TUS, Dale, or 7thson, and I can confidently say that most of you six, hadn't talked to most of my alliance. I had to assume that you were all together, whether it were true or not did not make a difference. The first couple of votes being almost unanimous was only a confirmation of that. I knew I wasn't talking to them, yet they were voting how we discussed. Obviously that came from you. I looked at your relationship with me as a keep your enemies tighter sort of thing. I told everyone in my alliance before the CiCi vote that they were suddenly going to start hearing from people they hadn't heard from before, and I used the whole they didn't care to talk to you before thing as a sort of rallying cry. It appears that Yam eventually came to believe that he could trust you more than me, and that was a huge mistake by him. He only could have come to this conclusion by you telling him about me talking about voting him out. Obviously I was playing stupid when I mentioned voting him out after Velvet since he was immune and couldn't go anywhere. Besides that, we all know that I was merely setting things up for our alliance and the only way I could do that convincingly was to continually suggest that I was willing to go against them. My alliance knew I was doing this, yet I doubt Yam knew that you were spreading rumors that he may have the book of the dead. That's not a knock on you of course, yet my reaction was to believe it was you that had it. I never even asked Yam about it because I figured if I was wrong and he did have it, great, I am happy. You see, it upsets me that Yam appears to still believe that he was right in trusting you or anyone else over me. He cost himself any shot he had at winning by deciding to side with who he did. As I said before, even if he miraculously made it to the final three, he wasn't going to receive any votes with the way he played. If he really wanted to make a smart move to take me out and take control of the game in a manner that would have given him a chance to win, he should have tried to make his own 3 person alliance within our larger alliance. Make a final 3 pact with say Jefff and Hash when there were only 2 of you left. That could give him 5 in a game of 9 and eventually 3 in a game of 5. Whatever, something like that. The bottom line is that he absolutely should have trusted me more than anyone else in this game, and I know that because I would have been willing to eventually drop out of the game for him.

That early in the game, it was hard to know who to trust. Something as deadly as that book could make me the #1 threat, if I wasn't already. So yeah, I asked around a bit to try and work out who among the group would see the book as an asset, and not just something to get rid of as quickly as possible.

I asked a few people if they thought you had it as well, mostly to see how they reacted. If someone didn't think it was possible that you had it, despite you being a good player, then they were probably in a close alliance with you and figured you'd tell them whether or not you had it. It was the only way I could think of to gather information on how each player was thinking, and about who trusted whom.

And, as I've said many times: there is no evidence whatsoever that Velvet is an alt. It's not impossible, but if it IS an alt, it was planned months in advance and has all sorts of completely pointless interactions that took place long before the game even started.

Believe what you want, and as I said it could technically be true, but at this point there's nothing driving this belief other than paranoia, which seems to be par for the course with this stuff now.

First, pointing out simple contradictions isn't "wordplay." But using "wordplay" to describe arguments is.

Second, I didn't lecture him, I simply reiterated that I had no evidence he was an alt. He decided to argue with me about that. That's up to him, but nobody made him do it, so this "don't bother him while he's emotionally distressed" stuff makes zero sense.
