There's a bunch of ties. A lot of people have things where they have the same amount of points and the same amount of votes. But there's room for everybody (except for Loner and Swedish Chef at #100) to have their own placing. So, what I do is, if three people have a tie, and there's open spaces for numbers 66, 65 and 64... I basically decide who I wanna put where. And I decided to put Database Errol there in 66.

And actually, looking at Miss Vicky's notes, there's really no more ties after this. Although some may look like ties, but they're not.

What Sexy said. 66, 65, and 64 were tied with no way to actually break the tie. Usually numerical ties are broken by giving the higher slot to the person with the most votes. If they have the same amount of votes, then the higher spot is given to the person with the highest single vote.

Numbers 66-64 all received a first place vote from one person, but no other votes. Since Errol was one of Sexy's alternates, I expected him to favor himself and put it in the highest position of the three.

Matteo is the first person to show up from my list. I had him at #16. If there's one person who should post more, it's him. All his posts are golden. He has impeccable taste in films. I always discover new films to watch every time he makes a new thread. He's a great writer. Very intelligent. Very articulate. And he writes about films with such passion that it inspires me to do the same. If he was a lot more active, I think he could be near the top of this countdown. I have enormous respect for the guy.

Optimus is one of our best new members. I've enjoyed following along and posting in his various threads. He's very friendly. Plus I admire that he doesn't give a ***** what other people think of his favorites. Not many people openly admit that they love Battleship and think Jaws 2 is better than Jaws. Hopefully he sticks around for the long haul and continues to remain as active around the forum as he's been so far. If so, I could see him climbing much higher on this countdown next year.

I've seen Kaplan make some excellent, intelligent, well-written posts. I just wish he made them more often. I think he could be one of my favorite members if he was more active around the forum.

I gave some consideration to putting Thursday Next on my list. If we could have included 30 members, she would've made my list. I've never interacted with her much and I don't see her around as often nowadays, but I've always enjoying reading her thoughtful posts.

No, I came and went each month during the start of March 2014, through late September 2014. After that I disappeared for 5 months, and now I am back regularly. My long time away was from late October 2012 through the start of March 2014. I was gone for a year and five months, but I was going through hell.

Anyway, we've actually talked quite a bit in the past. I was probably here for at least six months when you first joined, too.

You know, Bluedeed rubbed me the wrong way for a while. I'm sure it was me who didn't get it at first, because as soon as I had a little interaction with him in my 1st Hall of Fame, my feelings did a 180. That's when I really started to appreciate his point of view. Even more so recently, I've seen him post a picture and show his personality more, and it's been beautiful to see. All of a sudden, I'm a huge Bluedeed fan. I still need a dictionary on hand to understand some of his posts, but that's not his fault.

I asked Neiba why he didnt back me up on Capt's post and he said I was doing fine on my own.... I didnt need a "Knight in Shining Armor" come to my rescue.. which he was one of the only people here who had seen my picture before anyone else...
