Leone has knocked out a few classics but Almodovar does make some pretty interesting themed work. Film against film Leone wins though.

I've never been a huge fan of Almodovar, and Leone kicks a$$.

Like the fella says, in Italy for 30 years under the Borgias they had warfare, terror, murder, and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, and the Renaissance. In Switzerland they had brotherly love - they had 500 years of democracy and peace, and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock."

There have been lots of times when the only movies I've wanted to watch are Almodovar movies. I would have voted for the Spaniard with the insanely flavorful films.
