But then...

Lynch.

I'm not a big Lynch fan, except "Mulholland Drive" and the first season of "Twin Peaks". Some others are OK, whereas I don't like most of them.

A system of cells interlinked
Mulholland Drive is one of my favorite flicks of all time. Great choice!

Fifth Element seems a bit high too me. Its on my list too no question but not as high. Too be honest Id like to has seen what you could have done with 200 films for its a shame your tournament is over.

100 is a good number. Much more than that and people tend to throw in a bunch of crappy ass movies that they only kind of like just to fill space.

I could get to 200 if I was to watch some movies I don't remember well, so I don't know what I would think of them now. Maybe in the future.

I haven't seen Hot Fuzz yet, but it's on my watchlist.

Chicago is also on my watchlist, and I think it has a chance to be one of the few musicals I enjoy.

Tropic Thunder is really good; it has some great moments.

Haven't seen Snowpiercer, and wasn't that interested to be honest.

I'm not a Terry Gilliam fan, but I at least liked Twelve Monkeys.

I plan on seeing The Fifth Element, but I don't plan on liking it.

Pan's Labyrinth and Mulholland Drive are very good films.

Great job finishing your list!

Maybe you could put all the titles in one post?

Cool list. Although there are a few very strange picks.
Let me guess: "Sliver", "Six Days Seven Nights", "Duplex"?

Which is the strangest pick or picks?

I never could get the hang of Thursdays.
Six Days Seven Nights is a guilty pleasure of mine, although I know it's really not very good. In a similar vein I would recommend The African Queen and Romancing the Stone, even if neither of them have Harrison Ford in.

Both movies seem like the sort I would enjoy. Thank you.

Although Sliver basically showcases the speed at which Sharon Stone's underwear can be extricated, and Lucy is the worst sci-fi film I have ever seen. The rest of this list is pretty dawn good.

I had 5 Swatches on my arm…
10. True Romance (1993)

The best thing about the film is the contrast between dangerous situation protagonists find themselves in and their carefree hope for the future and love for each other accompanied by enticing Alabama's laughter as they seek to figure this mess out. It has lots of great scenes if I wasn't to say all scenes are great by itself and always flavored by unspoken contrasts in the context of the story. I loved the fight scene between Virgil (by James Gandolfini) and Alabama (by Patricia Arquette). Ending is proper for this great movie, for sure.
Walken and Hopper's scene is one of my all time favorites.

The more I think about it, I wish there were more QT screenplays that someone else directed.

I have to return some videotapes.
Amazing:
Gone Girl (2014)
The Dark Knight (2008)
The Departed (2006)
The Town (2010)
Fargo (1996)
Prisoners (2013)
L.A. Confidential (1997)
The Shawshank Redemption (1994)
Die Hard (1988)
Die Hard 2 (1990)
The Fugitive (1993)
Blazing Saddles (1974)
Mean Girls (2004)

Good:
Tropic Thunder (2008)
True Romance (1993)
The Bourne Identity (2002)
The Bourne Supremacy (2004)
The Interview (2014)
Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991)
The Hunger Games (2012)
Horrible Bosses 2 (2014)
Easy A (2010)
Borat (2006)
Pitch Perfect (2012)
----------------------

OK.. Somewhat bad:
Titanic (1997)
V for Vendetta (2005)
Black Hawk Down (2001)
American Pie (1999)
Iron Man (2008)

Bad:
Avengers Assemble (2012)
Lucy (2014)
The Usual Suspects (1995)
Panic Room (2002)
Mad Max: Fury Road (2015)

I still need to see much more movies from your list but overall, the list is solid with me

Quentin Tarantino movies are focused too much on violence and lack emotional connection with protagonists. There's nothing wrong with violence in movies, it's one of the most important features of most movies anyway, and he can make it look beautiful sometimes, but it should only be as one of aspects or just a secondary aspect of a movie. Violence should matter in the context of a story and in character fates. Otherwise it becomes like porn, not that there's anything wrong with it.
