After the first twenty or thirty minutes, the movie kicks into high gear and never lets up.

With [i]Dersu Uzala[/i], Akira Kurosawa has created a quietly powerful film, filled with beauty, and touched with a gentle sadness throughout.

I definitely recommend this one, especially if you're a fan of old horror films. You won't be disappointed.

I have to say that most of the praise I had heard was well deserved. This is a great debut film for Coppola.

Thus we are left with a very stylish movie that has some great action and suspense sequences, but lacks the soul of the original. For those who like action or adventure movies, though, I'd still recommend it.

One of the best Asian horror films I've seen, Dark Water is the frightening tale a of a woman going through a divorce who moves into an old apartment with her young daughter Ikuko.

I know it doesn't sound like it, but this is a great, great movie. If you're looking for horror, though, look elsewhere.
