This was only my second Keaton film after The General (I ended up seeing two more of his short films after this), but this one follows a "similar" template in which he finds himself in wacky predicaments to earn the love of a girl.

A brief yet novel take on the detective genre that uses the narrative excuse of a dream sequence in order to deliver some innovative silent-film visuals (just check the start of the dream sequence where Keaton's character ends up on the cinema screen and is constantly flitting through different back...

So I enjoyed four of the sight gags, and that will be enough to get Buster some popcorn points from me, which is what made him get into making films I am sure.
