A life time wrestling enthusiast, Du Pont recruits the Olympic gold medal winning Schultz brothers, Dave and Mark in order to coach Mark to a gold medal at the upcoming Seoul Olympics, and to have the brothers coach young wrestlers at his state of the art training facility.

The story is much more character based, and while the story is very simple, the characters are complex and interesting enough to keep the film entertaining.

The movie is bleak, grey with little joy or enjoyment, not because Miller lacks in certain aspects of a film maker but because it's supposed to be that way.
