The Banshees of Inisherin seems to ask that question as it follows longtime friends Colm (Brendan Gleeson) and Padraic (Colin Farrell) reach a crossroad in their relationship.

I say that because The Banshees of Inisherin uplifts me, no matter how much I empathise with it's two sad, warring parties Pdraic Silleabhin (Colin Farrell) and Colm Doherty (Brendan Gleeson).
