Its narrative is coherent, it makes sense, it isnt just a mad rush from action sequence to action sequence nor does it really drag at any point and honestly, I like the simple story a lot.

This combined with Michael Stefani's sly, snakelike villain gives Thomerson's Jack Deth and Helen Hunt's punk-rocking companion Leena, who also hope to protect the future council's ancestors, please on both action and mystery fronts.

Retired cop Jack (Tim Thomerson) is called back into service when Whistler is able to travel back in time to the 1980s to eliminate the ancestors of the current political leadership.
