Writer Van Weyden (Alexander Knox) and recently-arrested fugitive Ruth (Ida Lupino) are thrown into the water when the ferry theyre aboard is struck by another ship.

But..besides all of the film's short comings, I still liked it as it had the great Eddie Robinson and the ship scenes really looked good.
