Of course, if you're watching a film like this in the first place then you've got to be prepared to roll with a lot of silly details (such as the serum looking like the contents of a glow-stick) and of course be able to handle some violent imagery that still looks quite messed-up even in 2015.

Lovecraft adaption, but beyond a somewhat bizarre atmosphere and a horrific climax, its not really the most characteristically Lovecraftian film out there (no tentacles, occult flourishes, or spectacular monstrosities are on display, Im afraid).
Omnizoa
character gets even creepier by drawing out his sentences and staring wide-eyed out into the distance which affects other people like he's performing hypnosis or something even though this is never established and appears to work inconsistently because it doesn't seem to affect Re-Animator Guy who reasons that are also never established.
