Life there is as routine as the soldiers' training regimen, but it soon changes once recruit Sentain (Colin) arrives, who gains the admiration of Commander Forestier (Subor) and thus the ire of Chief Warrant Officer Galoup (Lavant).

Unfortunately for all involved, the military setting of this triangle means that Galoup has a degree of power over the men and specifically over Sentain.
