Whats the best Yakuza films now and past????

Please yesterday i posted a message about samurai films and many of you got back to me cheers for that.

Today I would like to know what are the best Yakuza, gangster movies going from way back when to now!, please can you give some ideas, sites, or even lists would be greatly appreciated.

The Yakuza written by Paul Schrader is good as is Ichi the Killer for a black comedy. I don't know if this qualifies but I really liked The Hunted with Christopher Lambert too and a movie called Brother. There's a billion foreign films on this topic I haven't seen or even know about though.

"I can't help it..."
On the weekend I watched the film Brother, written, directed, editing & starring Kitano Tekashi. It was pretty good, Omar Epps was good in his role.

Can't think of any more, at the moment...
