Looking for a movie title

I remember seeing a movie about 15 to 20 years ago that I am trying to
think of the name. The movie may have been older. It was about a family
I think that are stranded on an island and all that I remember is they escape the island by turning an airplane into an boat. I am not sure the type of plane but I want to say it was an p-61 Black Widow. Does anyone have any idea's what the name is.

Sounds like a take on the Swiss Family Robinson stories. Maybe even the film "No Escape" with Ray Liotta.

It does seem like it was a family that was stranded and I remember that
they escaped the island at night and it was stormy. I will do a google
for Swiss Family Robinson and see what I can find. Thanks for all of the

I found the title it was called "The last flight of Noah's Ark" and starred
Elliott Gould & Rick Schroder. I was wrong about the plane being an
P-61 Black Widow as it was an B-29.Thanks for the help.
