Are these replays in editing or no?

In Red Heat, I was wondering if the gun shots were actually replays, or if the villain actually fired 7 shots at Schwarzenegger but none of them are replays? What do you think?

I know the video has been taken down, but out of curiosity what does "replays" mean in this context?
