I was watching "The Institute" last night (also known as "Millwood" I believe) One thing bothered me about it and that was the apparent lack of motive behind the sadistic behaviour of the staff at the institute. It was an OK movie, but felt a bit cheated at the end. Normally, I do not mind movies with ambiguous endings, one which makes the audience think a little, but this in my opinion was a little too open ended. The only reason I can see it was done in this way is that it was mostly filmed from the point of view of the lead character, Nathan.
Anyone else seen this movie feel the same way?
