NYC Documentary

Hi everyone, I know this is a little different but I'd love some input,

Just a post asking for advice. I am taking a trip to New York next month and would like to make a documentary about the city. I plan to be very run-and-gun, only taking my Canon EOS 700d and my GoPro Hero 5.

I was thinking of making a documentary focused on films shot in the city but apart from that I am at a loose end and could really use your ideas to help me come up with a solid premise for the project.

Aside from any advice or reccomendations on what the documentary should entail, feel free to leave some essential places to visit in the city that have been captured on film.

If you're planning a documentary regarding films shot in New York, it would be a good idea to watch as many films shot there so that you have specific locations in mind once you get there and there is no place better to start than with the work of Woody Allen...like him or hate him, no filmmaker has ever utilized Manhattan as a cinematic more effectively than Allen.
